Abyssal III

Part of my abyssal artwork series inspired in the creatures of the deep oceans. This is the third round, after Abyssal I & Abyssal II collections. I created these originally as audioreactive visuals in order to develope the image of Krake Festival. As I have done in previous editions Krake Festival 2016 and 2017. With this series I have the chance to explore over the years this project / them and push it forward, finding new species hidden in the deep of my mind. The whole project was developed as an art piece for live visuals purpose using VDMX.

Along the stills, this year I have edited a kind of video art piece called Carpe Noctem to use for self-promotion. Taking as inspiration the quote from Hermes Trismegistus: “As above, so below, as within, so without, as the universe, so the soul…” Using a mixture of names from galaxies and jellyfishes, to reflect in how unknown is the deep nature of our planet, as it is the far away universe.
